Subject: [amibroker] OT: VM for Vista64

Herman,

Just few things to consider:
1. Windows and programs under Virtual Machines run slower than "normal"
2. Graphic card hardware is not exposed under VM. They are running under old
"super vga" mode.
This means, that entire rendering is in software, not hardware acceleration
- i.e. slower 2D graphics, no speedy 3D graphics at all.
For example if you attempt to run Vista under VirtualPC, it won't feature
"aqua" translucent interface,
no matter how good graphic card you have.

I am using VirtualPC but only for testing setups because it is easy to revert
to "fresh install"
state in a matter of seconds.

Best regards,
Tomasz Janeczko
