Hi, I still await some response on this. In the meanwhile I install Amibroker on the same machine as Bloomberg, and set up the Universal DDE plugin precisely as documented in help. I also set up the RT database with Bloomberg tickers of a few symbols. On connencting, the plugin status goes into "WAIT" mode -yellow - and stays that way. I get no feeds.
Help also speaks of "enabling' Bloomberg for DDE. How do i do this? I assume BLB's default state is DDE enabled since it allows for DDE feeds into Excel w/o having to do anything more. Is there something I else I have to do, something I've done wrong? Any help will be greately appreciated. best regards, Kazaan --- In [email protected], "furinkazaan" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Hi, > > I download a AB trial prior to buying multiple copies for my office, > for the precise purpose of setting up AB to take in a Bloomberg feed > and see how it goes. > > My questions are > Is it necessary to install AB on the same PC as the one on which > Bloomberg runs?
