Brian, I understand where you are coming from. Depending on the message and the model, giving away something of value to build a support base is a time honored marketing method.
However, if you own the golden goose and use the golden eggs to pay the bills only a fool would give that away prematurely. Perhaps after you have replaced it with the platinum goose...
