I have also applied your ribbon and it's works well - mostly. I display daily, weekly and monthly charts side by side and use the ribbon on a DMI pane (weekly ribbon on daily display and monthly ribbon on weekly display) with 4 conditions governing ribbon colours (PDI>MDI, MDI>PDI and ADX rising or falling for each alternative).
These conditions cover all possible combinations and yet for some symbols this outside timeframe ribbon displays a default colour (i.e. not one of the condition colours) for sometimes lengthy periods of time where the same ribbon in the 'normal' timeframe is correct (CSL is a good example). I initially thought it may have been missing data (suspended days etc) but it doesn't seem to be the case, though as it varies from symbol to symbol but is consistent for each individual symbol it does appear to be some data issue.
