I'll take a stab but I ain't no expert. I've heard of this error being caused
by a virus so you might want to check that out. If it is not a virus it sounds
like it is associated with one of your AB folders or files. I would do a fresh
install (not just uninstall and reinstall) into a new AB folder after first
renaming your current AB folder so that you don't lose anything. That should
work and then you can reclaim your current settings, etc. by replacing
appropriate folders and files from the original AmiBroker folder. At some
point you might find one of the files or folders is causing the problem. If
this does not work you still have your original AB folder and files and can
continue searching for a solution.

Subject: [amibroker] Failed to create empty document - error message.

In the last week, I began receiving this error message when I start
AmiBroker. It persists and will not allow the computer to run any other
program. I uninstalled and reinstalled AmiBroker hoping to solve the problem,
but it persists. I cannot run AmiBroker. No other program seems to be
affected. Has anyone encountered this message and do they have a solution?

  Thank you, Mike
