Mark: Copy that. I was hoping TJ would take the topic and respond in some general way...knowing that he does not promise nor pinpoint when some feature would be completed (competitive purposes) I was hoping he might comment on where he saw the Portfolio Manager functionality (or lack of it) fitting into the overall vision he has of where Amibroker should go in the future, and what added features might continue to drive sales. Perhaps the bulk of Amibroker customers (future customers) don't really value the Portfolio Manager feature. Good luck. Ken

Mark: Have you looked at the Portfolio Manager for tracking open positions? TJ said a long time ago that he was going to improve/bolster the Portfolio Manager but I guess it has never worked its way near the top of the list. Ken _____ From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of MarkK Sent: Sunday, May 24, 2009 4:47 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [amibroker] Problem with AB can anyone help? Been working with AB for a while now It is great for back testing and setting up charts Now when I start to trade live my trade system that AB has helped me put together it falls short here Am I missing something? Looking for a way to track the open positions and get percentage returns, dollar amount, sharpe, and other statistical information Then when the position is close to keep the running tally going for open and closed positions along with Mdd, and equity curves. First can AB do this am I missing something or am I correct in that AB falls apart here? If it cannot do it does anyone have a suggestion on what they use to for the above information? Thank you MarkK
