Following earlier comments on this, I have now updated the manual to reflect 
the below. The manual can be downloaded here:

Basically the RMath plug-in itself has not changed, but ALWAYS make sure your 
version of R matches the version of the RMath DCOM, i.e. older versions of R 
often do not work with the later versions of RMath DCOM, and vice versa.
