Tomasz, Yep, that makes sense. When I first wrote my little code snippet, I used the O, H, L, C order, and saw that the candles were correctly inverted (prior white/up candles became black/down candles). I just did a test, and the order of H and L doesn't change the display for PlotOHLC(). And in both cases, the fractional price display for the Y-axis is confused.
When showing every fourth 1/32nd, they appear in the order, from top to bottom, -119^23, -119^27, -119, -120^3, -120^7, and so on. Normally, if not negative and inverted, they would be 118^24, 118^28, 119, 119^4, 119^8, and so on. When displayed as decimal, they are correct. Really, I can live with decimal displays, since I'll still work off the normal / positive chart. Thanks for everyone's input. - Bill --- In [email protected], "Tomasz Janeczko" <gro...@...> wrote: > > Don't forget to swap -H with -L because -H is LOWER than -L > > Best regards, > Tomasz Janeczko > amibroker.com > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Mike" <sfclimb...@...> > To: <[email protected]> > Sent: Friday, September 25, 2009 10:19 PM > Subject: [amibroker] Re:Inverted (upside-down) chart display > > > > Very creative Herman.
