Thanks Tomasz! I knew that I could run Amibroker 32 on a 64bit OS but I was unaware that I could have both versions of AB (32 and 64) installed at the same time. I am going to switch to that config today.
My main problem still is that Amibroker 64 has a 4Gb limit on its in memory cache. I am a little surprised that I am the first person to have this issue. I would have thought there would be a number of people who would be interested in datasets that exceed this limit. --- In [email protected], Tomasz Janeczko <gro...@...> wrote: > > Hello, > > Paul just told you that you can run 32 bit AmiBroker on 64-bit Windows. > There is NO need for dual boot. > > You can run BOTH 32-bit and 64-bit AmiBroker at the same time on 64-bit > Windows. > > Here is a chart that says all: > http://www.amibroker.com/guide/compat.html > > Best regards, > Tomasz Janeczko > amibroker.com > > > > On 2009-12-16 16:31, smw311 wrote: > > I'm using a dual boot solution to get around the 32 bit plugin issue. i.e. > > download data in xp 32 switch to win7 64 to run it.
