Simple question: as I am about to upgrade my actual ATHLON 64 X2 4200+ to something more recent, is there any recommendation for INTEL .vs. AMD architecture for running AB to the best performance ?
Years ago AMD memory architecture was better than INTEL, which seems important for AB as per http://www.amibroker.com/kb/2008/08/12/afl-execution-speed/, the memory access being the limiting factor for AFL calculation. but now I have no idea what is the situation today Tomasz, any recommendation?
