How Manu quotes are you downloading? For about 600 stocks with
aliquote on daily IT taies less than 1 mn. Speed about 9 mbps. If it
is longer for you, it' likely the quote server which is slow. So
having higher speed from your isp won't help.

Go to amiquote settings and there should be an option to download
via opening multiple connections. Open about 10 ...
For fundamental data I don't think yahoo will let you open too many
and they might block you.
