Has this always been the case? I am positive I deleted quotations about a year ago. In wanting to test some intraday systems, I took expired futures contracts and deleted the last days before expiration and early days where the contract was not the front month and there was no volume. Not as good as a continuous contract, but I did create a nice series of 3 month contracts that were clean. Thinking back, I may not have used quote editor, I may have switched to daily time frame then highlighted the unwanted days and selected Edit > Delete quotation. But maybe not, because that is not working now. In any case, what I did not do was go to the information tab and change the "Use only local database" to yes. Bad things happen with IB when AB attempts to backfill expired futures contracts and in this case running the backtest triggered the backfill and IB stuck a couple of days on the end of the contract that I need to get rid of. Is there anyway to delete quotations from these expired IB contracts.
