Hello,

First I would try a system restore (sometimes more than one point back), has
saved me in past on Vista.

Two, upgrade to Windows 7, recently did the upgrade, not new install and
everything worked fine.

Regards,

JG

Of course back up back up.

Subject: [amibroker] OT: re-fullinstall of Vista without losing Data

Hello group,

My problem is that Vista Home premium has some issues that have stopped
working...

Some services will not start and I have been unable to resolve these
issues...among other things..

I wish to do a full operating install...I do not have a recovery CD , I have
a recovery Partition that

came with the computer...

I want to keep all programs and files that I now have on my hard disk...what
would be the best

way to accomplish this task..?

Thank you ,

Anthony
