I missed that as I was going thru preferences.  If I use the pick button, AB is
not getting the entire path for Include and it can't be edited manually and
make it stick.  The file path appears to be correct with "pick" but doesn't
save and is back to the default after an AB reboot.  I must still be
overlooking something.

I can do a complete redo of the AB installation on the W7 laptop but I've got a
ton of formulas and charts that have to be copied from my XP desktop.  In the
past for XP machine to XP machine a complete copy and over write has worked but
with the path change from Program Files to Program Files (x86) that is not
working for me.

Anyone have a procedure for this that works?
TIA
Sid

Subject: [amibroker] finding formulas on W7 install

Got a new W7 laptop, installed AB 5.20.  Then I tried to copy my current
desktop over that  AB on the laptop.  Probably a dumb move...

AB couldn't find the data files because the data has a new address in the
Program Files (x86) area.  I went to preferences and changed the address to the
new location.

Now AB can't find the formulas, for the same reason I assume.  I can't find any
place to enter the new default location for the formula files.

Anyone have  a hint on how to change the formulas location address on that W7
laptop?

Thanks,
Sid
