If you're using a recent version of AmiBroker, look at the Trace tab of the Log window. Your trace output may be going there instead.
I have not experimented much, but there are two checkboxes to control where the output goes. See AFL tab in Preferences dialog, or right click in pane of Trace tab of Log Window. Selecting Internal sends output to the Trace tab.
