Hello, Although a reasonable long-term user of AB, I've just recently started using it with IB to display realtime data and charts.
The software versions I'm using are: Amibroker: 5.20 IB Plugin: 2.0.2 My backfill period is set to 30 days (I don't think that the 180 days option is working). The problems I've seen are: - If a period has elapsed since a symbol has last been accessed and updated in Amibroker, the backfill only works for the current day. This means that data holes are introduced into the displayed data. I can usually fix this by deleting the symbol, stopping and restarting Amibroker, and reentering the symbol. - For new symbols, sometime only a few bars of the current day are brought into Amibroker. I haven't been able to find a workaround for this. I'm reluctant to install the latest beta version of Amibroker, because of the change to the database format, and would prefer to wait to the next official release. Will this likely fix the issue? I searched this board before posting, but didn't find these issues discussed. Is there a logfile for the IB plugin? I noticed a logfile in the installation for eSignal, even though I don't use eSignal. Many thanks, Paul
