Instead of importing MS data, link the Viratech database with Amibroker using File -> Database Settings and Selecting Metastock data plugin as the data source.
By doing this, as soon as Viratech's data folder is updated, same is reflected in AB as well. I generally used MS but i find AB to great coding platform as i've programming background. For this purpose i import data in AB though an option from File menu (Import Data from MS). I find this little tedious and i've to do this for every other market like commodities, equity, futures etc. Specially on hourly i have to do this exercise quite often to get latest bar. My question is there a way that directly updates data in AB also and i do not need to import data from MS. I would appreciate if some kind soul reply my query.
