Well, I though maybe the hard drives are the bottleneck, but surely not as these would be using the BURST speed to grab the little bit of data needed each time. Here are the results of using HD Tune looking at the first 40 gig of space (short stroke):
Old system: High 47 mb/s, Low 26 mb/s, Avg 38 mb/s Access time 13.3 second, Burst rate 85 mb/s New system: High 120 mb/s, Low 117 mb/s, Avg 119 mb/s Access time 8.2 second, Burst rate 226 mb/s Is there any way to speed this new system up ???
