This is an brief notice about a series that I'm starting on
AmibrokerU.com. After teaching various Amibroker seminars and seeing
various questions on this board over the years, I've become convinced
that, for a user to adapt and/or develop app's
* Understanding the multiple passes of an AFL script during various
operations is critical
* An understanding of the factors that affect performance will be
needed sooner or later
* Exposure to various tools and techniques for debugging will be
useful
I've mapped out the first 12 chapters in the intro movie, and they are
meant to be short at about 10-12 minute videos each. The entire series
will probably be upward of 20 chapters before its done. And, I'd
appreciate feedback in the AmibrokerU Forum about desired topics. It is
specifically NOT my intent to teach programming, but I will probably
cover some array processing techniques, and also some programming
considerations.
I've posted the intro and the chapter #1 to the Free Library / Free
Presentations area. I'll be posting #2 and #3 over the next week to the
free area. The rest will probably go in a subscription area. Hope they
prove useful.
