Hello,

Is text tool behaviour the only thing that interferes with your workflow ?

Thanks Tomasz for your comments. Well i see nearly 300 charts every 2 hour and 4 different different time frames. Now if i assume even if it takes incremental 1 sec for pressing combination of keys, for executing one command on one chart it would take 1 sec and on 300 charts with 3-4 different time frame on daily basis, its huge manpower productivity loss. In my view whenever you come out with new version, add just one check box in tools/preferences where user can select an option which disables customized keyboard shortcut keys while typing text. This would add lot of value and would make the basic charting operation far faster than current.

PS: This is my view and humble suggestion, needless to say AB is best charting
package i have come across.

    Hello,

Keyboard shortcuts should never use plain letters. You must always use Alt+
, Ctrl+ combinations.
Only function keys (Fx and special purpose keys (page up/down) can be used
alone.

    Greetings Tomasz,

How it would be that while someone is typing text, the customized keyboard
shortcut keys should be disabled?
    Hope to get positive response.

Well you know what, i do not wanna do that, pressing one key is much
better than pressing three keys. Any other option guys??

        Thanks any ways,

try using combinations including modifier keys-
instead of b use ctrl+shift+ b as short cut.

                Hello Group,

I have customized entire keyboard for different-different
command. Now the problem occurs when i try to put text on chart (Elliott
marking).
For example i have used "b" for bar chart, and now when try to type "b",
it doesn't type "b" but it executes the command. Can anyone of you
give an idea how can i have both working at same time. Or while
i type the command does not execute. It sounds little weird but that is what
                my requirement is.

                Thanks & Regards
