Just a follow up ... I had previously selected Windows Live mail as my email program for Windows 7, using with gmail address.
I noticed two problems: 1. I was missing some emails (both incoming and outgoing) 2. The organization of Window Mail was not very good. I could not see who the mail was sent to in the sent folder. All that was visible was the source (me) ... maybe I did not set it right?? At any rate I switched to Thunderbird, which seems to work more like Outlook Express, that I was happy with when using my XP.
