Hi Phil -- InSync is / was the name of a commercial program that computed the values of 10 or so traditional technical indicators and let them vote. I reviewed that program for one of the technical publications fifteen or more years ago. My conclusion was that the indicators they used were so closely correlated that having ten did not help.
You can confirm this yourself using AmiBroker. As you are evaluating AmiBroker, read about the AddToComposite (ATC) function that is one of the methods you can use to accumulate data for use in insych-type indicators.
