AmIRC runs on my system 24/7 and I have experienced no such lockups.
However, I do not use YAM. YAM locked up enough all by itself for me to
stop using it. Same thing with AWeb. Dumped AWeb and IBrowse and
use Voyager in place of those, and 99% of my headaches went away. :)
