* Wow, AmIRC 3.0 Release Test archive finally went
out to the beta folks. If everything goes straight(*),
it will be available on weekend.
Some of the more "major" changes:
- Color support, both input (WYSIWYG, yep :)
and output
- Inline URLs
- Timestamping
- many, many additions to the plugin API
- several GUI enhancements, including a completely
rewritten prefs system
- full support for ircu 2.10.x and ircnet "e" and "I"
modes (handled like "b")
- fixes, cleanups, speedups and everything
- Frank Mosch's excellent documentation rewritten in HTML
BTW, about half of the work on AmIRC 3.0 has been done
by Jamie "Entity" van den Bergen. Credit were credit
is due.
