That isn't because of AmIRC. When you get disconnected (whatever the reason
is) then AmIRC gives you a lag warning because it thinks that you are still
online (which is not true, Miami is online, but not connected anymore).
After a minute or so Miami finally goes offline.
The reasons for your disconnections could be many, noisy line, another
incoming call, or simply a bad ISP. You should check these out. AmIRC
doesn't make you go offline, definately.

Perhaps low on RAM ? I get weird renders in MUI applications when I run out
of RAM.
