You misunderstand me.
When you tell mIRC to connect to irc.dal.net, it checks the IP address
of the server. This is then the address you connect to (its one of
many DalNet servers, read the MOTD to find out which). You can then
add this one to your Server List yourself if it works okay.
There aren't very many servers that are�designed to do this, I doubt
its worth the time to add the neccessary interaction with NetInfo, as
there are plenty of other things to do already.
