Pull-down menus disappearing seems to be a recurring problem on many
of my Vapor apps. I've so far gotten it on AmIRC, AmTelnet and
Voyager. Fortunately I can get them back by iconifying and then
deiconifying the app, and then the pull-down menus work again.

While I'm at it, I noticed something yesterday. The MUI upper-right
window gadgets? There's the 'bring up a menu with snapshot, iconify,
settings, unsnapshot' one, and there's the 'iconify' one. If I click
on the previous and select 'iconify', AmIRC iconifies normally. If I
click on just the plain 'iconify' gadget, AmIRC instead just reduces
the windows into the tray window and therefore doesn't close the
screen. Can anyone confirm this behavior? And would this be a bug or
an 'undocumented feature'?

And since I'm still here... Would it be possible to write a script in
ARexx that would check every specified time interval if AmIRC is
connected, and if it isn't, give the order to connect? I need my AmIRC
to stay connected when I'm not immediately available to click on
'reconnect'.
