There's a bit of a problem with the English language strings in AmIRC:

* AmIRC now supports COLOURCODES, which means it will show
individual message colours set by the sender! Rest assured this

Do Color codes?
colour that's defined in the Colors.
The program and documentation mixes USA and British/Irish/Euro/Aus/NZ/Indian
English freely. Okay, it's not going to end the world, but it does make it
more difficult to read.
