Hi Quite a long time ago I recall that someone else had the same problem I have now, unfortunately I no longer seem to have the email. I have switched over to a new ISP and now logging into IRC takes a long time. I believe this is something to do with the Ident service. On xchat on my linux box it eventually says 'no ident response'. I have tried unticking use IdentD in AmIRC but it doesn't make a difference. I haven't yet tried enabling the IdentD service in Genesis though. Any ideas?
