Well, actually I have a problem with AmIRC also. Since the betas, it
doesn't play any sounds anymore, not even through an external player. So
I sent the bug via the bug tracking system.
Anyway, it has not been reviewed yet by the programmers, nor any other
bug since mid 2000 afair.
