Thanks, but that would not apply here really...  My post was just to indicate
that yes, there IS an enforcer hit, and I'm not dreaming it and to describe
how the coder can reproduce the problem.

Enforcer and Segtracker are invaluable tools to coders and beta testers,
especially when you have debug versions to work with.

Cirdan, what makes you so sure I don't already have them? =)

Actually, assuming someone malicious server admin could exploit an 
non-compliant IRC client, they would have no idea what to do with an Amiga.
The only clients that get exploited are mIRC (mostly but also other Windows
clients) and BitchX/IRC-II and their offspring.

I only vaguely remember a system being compromised via AmIRC and that was
several years ago, and most likely by some rexx script someone ran without
examining.   I forgot what it was now...


I like Jamie's idea to add configurable modes, or maybe templates for use
of modes for popular IRCds.  That would be the absolute best solution to
the incompatible mode problem...  Maybe we can DCC Jamie more hours in 
the day so this can be done... =)
