Yes, I know it is not the "supported" software and this is for AMIRC, but I was wondering this: The past few days when I start AMIRC, K11 goes off to look for the new version, says there is one, and just stops there. I have tried running AMIRC localy (with TCP stack and the irc daemon running) and calling up the K11 gui via /kgui but I get a guru after a while or the machine just resets anyway. I also know I have asked similar questions earlier and people said there are "hacks" around and the like. I don't think I am infected (well I hope not) but this problem has me slightly stuck. Anyone?
