Anyone know if mime prefs does or can send incoming mime typed data to a named pipe? Or does it just use an unnamed pipe? AFAICT, without named pipe support it makes the system rather limited :( Additionally, I can't seem to get the program or script that is set for a particular mimetypes' viewing function to be executed when piping is selected for that type. Is it broken? At this point I'd appreciate any help I can get.
