Hi,

Well with all the help I received, I am still stuck.

I changed the setting in MUI from SMART to SIMPLE for the refresh of
windows, but that didn't work either.

Running Cyberguard I didn't get any errors.

(See posting in IAMIGA)

I think a couple of programs are possible problems -- but I don't think they
are contributing to the one with AMIRC.

One new thing I did notice.

I loaded my local IRCD program for local testing.

After connecting to it with ONE window and Cyberguard running, nothing went
wrong for a LONG time.

So, to make sure it was ok, I clicked in it and typed some random text, like
"blah blah"....

I don't know exactly, but just to see if things were "ok" with it.

As I pressed enter, the machine died. :(

Cyberguard didn't say anything to me -- but it was only to a console, so I
am not sure it would be able to.

But even if it was to a file, I don't know if the file I/O would of worked
anyway.

Oh -- he says, realising he may of shot himself in the foot -- I don't know
if Segtracker was or not running, though I think it must of been, as I got
a couple of things to the window/console as other programs ran.

Cya!

It's my personal idea because I stole it first.
