Hi.
I just downloaded and installed AmIRC 3.5. Everything goes fine until
I try and save the settings. Then my Amiga either completely locks up
or crashes, often so bad that it unvalidates my HD. (I now try and
run it from RAM only to avoid this).
This means I can't quit the program too, as the default is for the
settings to be saved on exit.
I've tried booting with no startup-sequence and running AmIRC like
this (with assigns set up for MUI etc) but this has the exact same
result - guru.
No difference whether I'm online or not.
Details of my system:
Amiga 1200 w/DKB Mongoose 68030 + 68882 + 32MB
Elbox 4xEIDE Interface, 4GB int. HD, and ext. 40x CD Drive
Genius 33600 Fax Modem
OS3.5 + DirOpus 5.82
Can anyone help? I would very much like to use this program.
