Hi, Ok, I maybe should of tried an earlier version too.
I upped the stack to 100,000 (without the ,) and tried it. It seemed to be ok, but then the machine locked up. As an excercise, I wanted to find out HOW dead the machine was. I unplugged the modem from the phone line. This should make the CD LED of the modem go out/off. Strange. It didn't! ALL the LEDs on the modem stayed as were. Go figure! I would of thought that the modem would of atleast detected the loss of carrier and extinguished the LED. Anyone? Cya! -- Where's my book of tasteless jokes...ah, here we go!
