I just happen to run a single 813 modulated by 811s in P-P with an ART-13
modiron. Works fine, tranny sings a bit. Using a solid state PA amp to tickle
grids of 811s through a P-P output transformer wired backwards. Presently
running 1500 volts plate at 150 mill. Will run more when I get ahold of a
couple of doorknobs I need. Transformer "should" be capable of about 1800 volts
at 180 mills. This is based on accounts of folks who have run the same lash-up.
I don't think I am going quite that hot on mine.
