Thanks, Larry. You have answered my question. I plan on pairing up the Gonset with a National NC-303 for a vintage SSB pair. Vintage AM can be handled here by a variety of other transmitters & receivers. (you should hear my re-workewd Apache sometime...)
I looked in my tube stash the other night; lo and behold, I have SIX 12AV7s that I had not previously noticed, because I didn't previously have a use for them.
