The Foundation for Amateur Radio (F.A.R.) and The Columbia Amateur
Radio Association (CARA) have joined forces to create what will 
become one of the premier Amateur Radio events in the Mid-Atlantic
region.  

The dates are Saturday, September 7 and Sunday, September 8,2002
at the Howard County (MD) Fairgrounds west of Baltimore near the
intersection of I-70 and MD-32.

"RF Connection," the "Badge Man," "Startek," "Ramsey Electronics,"

A special event station, "W3FAR/"AM" (W3-Full Audio Radio)," will be
on the air demonstrating vintage and homebrew equipment with that
wonderful rich sound of AM radio of the "old days."
