    Thanks for chiming in.  Mine is still on Carl's bench.  He's
designing a tuned input for it so I have yet to do anything but
drool over it as of this writing.

    I'm glad to hear it performs so well on AM.  It was my im-
pression it was designed for SSB so this is encouraging.

   I'll keep you posted on the progress.

Hi  Carl  and  others...I  use  my  warrior  on AM  with  very  good
results...I  drive it with a Ranger II
at  15 watts  and  get about  200  watts  out...When  modulated about
250....Runs a little warm  but witstands  my longwinded
mouth...Hi!!!  I love the Warrior..according  to  Heath  it  should  run
about  400watts...Don't think the 811 A would  like
it...
