Given the fact that CW and digital modes are needing less and less bandwidth thanks to the marvellous efficiency of modes like PSK31, there ought to be some kind of allocation that allows for more phone, but specifically more space for AM fone!
I think it would be GREAT if we had a whole swath of say 50 kHz of width that was designated as AM ONLY - no SSB, no CW no digital, NO kids NO lids (grin!)
