Don't forget the A and HA audio transformers. I made extensive use of
A-line
transformers in broadcast work with excellent results.
Yes. Those are pretty much the same as the LS series, but more compact in
physical size. There as also the "O" series, which are ultra-miniature high
fidelity units. Not quite so good as the LS and HA series, but pretty
close, especially considering the size. The O series are not very well
magnetically shielded, however.
I have seen transformers in pre-WWII broadcast quipment that looked exactly
like the HA series except they were black wrinkle finished, but they
carried the LS number.
