Recently I purchased a B&W 5100 and a 5100 B. It not going to be as easy to
fix as a ranger, WRL Globe champion or a Johnson valiant.
Unless, you know the territory that your working on, you can get yourself in
lots of trouble. Most of the time you have to work from the schismatic to find
the old caps to replace them, other wise you will have a failure in the near
future of the caps and circuits,All the tube gear has to be check to keep it
functioning and prevent future failures and damaging unreplaceable parts.
The most difficult transmitter I ever worked on was the a 32 V series.
