I Will agree with you the Viking 1 or 2 is very easy to restore or repair.
But, I also feel most Johnson,B&W, Heathkit, and WRL Champions, Globe kings
are the Most pleasure to restore and repair!
But, I feel like the 32 V series for me , wasn't lot of fun because of the
difficulty of getting at certain parts!
National receivers, like the NC-303, NC-300, and NC-183D I found was some of
the easiest to repair.
