I just read this on another reflector and thought it should receive wider exposure. Hope he really posted it, after all greater scams have been perpetrated.

The complaints we are getting relate to SSB operators (only) on crowded spectrun deliberately making the SSB signal abnormally wide, sometimes to force themselves in. We have nothing against AM, in fact I just got my Valiant completely restored and painted a few weeks ago and plan to use it on AM. Well, I guess I have one personal problem with AM--I can't get a word in edgewise and if I miss a pause in the QSO I have to wait another half-hour!! But that's good I guess-- I sure am learning a lot by listening. The fruitcakes on 20 meters should do that.
