With the present-day popularity of tongue piercing, I have a suggestion for 
the ultimate unobtrusive microphone - the TONGUE MICROPHONE!!  Just design a 
miniature water-proof mic and attach it to a tiny transmitter, and screw the 
whole thing onto the tongue stud.  It could be powered by the galvanic 
action of saliva and metal components on the device.  It would of necessity 
be ultra-QRP, so a miniature receiver/transmitter would be attached to 
clothing, designed to pick up the signal and relay it to a nearby receiving 
unit, just like a conventional wireless mic.

Maybe I ought to take out a patent!
