run and ger your mid 60's copy of the arrl handbook. Look up the amplifier
project that yields seperate 813 amp for each band. You've seen it before I'm
sure, at least a trillion times LOL

okay.. I'm not really following thier RF deck completely, but I'm using the
metering and screen/grid bias - control schematics.

If you look where they list the parts, s-1 is shown to be a 2 pole 3 position
rotary switch, shorting type, and it controls the screen metering. In one
position you look at V-1, the middle position is BOTH tubes, and the third
position is V-2. WHY DOES THAT HAVE TO BE A SHORTING SWITCH???????? I think
it is mislabled myself.

S-2 is shown to be a 2 pole 3 position, rotary switch, non-shorting. Looking
at the schematic this should be a THREE POLE switch. So possibly another
mistake?

take a gander and let me know what you think.

If NEITHER one has to be shorting, I got 'em covered here.
