I just thought of a good analogy for BPL. Since rubbish pickup is ubiquous,
and the garbage truck comes by on a regular schedule and normally has unused
space, why not let garbage collectors do double duty as a food delivery
service. They could eliminate the need for the milkman, pizza deliverer, and
the "meals on wheels" person.
