Who would like their very own McCurrdy audio router? Free for the taking. A few years ago we asked the other stations in our group if anyone had a few simple old patch panels laying around. To our suprise a 6 foot rack full of router and remote control heads arrived from KNBR.
After looking it over we decided it was just old enough technology that we didn't want to put it into everyday broadcast use. So like the monolith in 2001 it's been standing silent guard over our shop. Now I'm told it's destined for the dumpster. I really don't have use for it at home. And I'd rather not just junk it. Would someone have a use for it? As I'm writing this from home I don't have the port count or model number close at hand. There are some spare cards, and of course the book. This thing is free for the taking. Ready for the catch? You have to come to York, PA and pick it up yourself. But then it shouldn't really be any worse than hauling a T-368 or a KW-1.
