Mark,

You need to specify a little more about your need. The package is
important
to many users. Think "Can", "Radial", "Axial" leaded, "Snap in" PCB mount,
maximum temperature, AC ripple current (RMS), application...

Places like DigiKey (http://www.digikey.com/), and Mouser
(http://www.mouser.com) have all sorts of these. If you want "can" types,
the radio outlets are best. Look at Antique electronics
(www.tubesandmore.com). Another good place is Angela instruments
(http://www.angela.com/), Radio Daze
(http://www.radiodaze.com/index-alt.htm), and lots more.

I am very impressed with the new J & J tesla multisection cans. These
are
pretty new on the market, and are appearing in new manufacture guitar tube
amps. They offer 100uf + 100uf, 32+32, 50+50 all at @ 500v, 40+20+20+20 all
at 500v. These need a clamp to mount (about $1.50 ea), and the caps cost
about 10 bucks each. I have used some on a recent project, and they work
really well for the size (small), and price. Both Antique, and Angela carry
them. Antique is more costly, but Angela has higher shipping costs, so it's
a wash. Both are a pleasure to do business with. Antique has secure online
ordering, and Angela takes a fax. Either can take a phone order during
business hours (Antique is in Arizona, and Angela is on the east coast).

Hope this helps,
Jim
